Diabetes mellitus describes a metabolic disorder of multiple etiology, characterized by chronic hyperglycemia with disturbances in the metabolism of carbohydrates, lipids and proteins, resulting from deficiencies in the secretion or action of insulin, or both. The effects of long-term diabetes mellitus, include damage, dysfunction and failure of multiple organs. diabetes mellitus may present with characteristic symptoms such as thirst, polyuria, blurred vision and weight loss. In more severe cases, ketoacidosis can develop,or a non-ketone hyperosmolar state that may lead to lethargy, coma, in the absence of adequate treatment, to death.Most of the time the symptoms are not graves, being absent, and consequently hyperglycemia sufficient to cause pathological and functional changes may be present for a long time before the diagnosis is made.

Indications:1 capsule before breakfast and 1 capsule before dinner, ingested with water.
